Ghost Stories

10/8/19

Our club coach, Patrick led our meeting tonight with a theme of Ghost Stories. During a fun round of introductions we heard a few personal stories of unexplainable ghostly and paranormal phenomenons, and we also heard from a few skeptics about the non-existence of paranormal entities. We learned about the most haunted places in the U.S. and in Seattle – Pike Place Market. Suzy gave a great Ice Breaker speech and we learned about her favorite year through her fun storytelling speech style. Harry gave a great speech about our club PR strategy during which he reminded us of why we are all a part of TM – to help, support, and encourage one another in our personal development of communication and leadership skills.

Dave led a fun debate about whether ghost stories or “adventure” stories are better. Diana led a Table Topics session with individual questions covering obstacles to life dreams, proudest accomplishments and challenges, and whether “gathering knowledge” or “developing belief” is more important.

During our business meeting we announced that we will be celebrating this club’s 72nd birthday on November 5th. We will celebrate during our normal meeting time at a casual gathering at Flying Bike Coop Brewery starting at 7pm. No meeting, just getting together to hang out and relax.

We had 13 attendees with 4 guests. Thank you all for attending and for your participation!
